El Jose is the passionate and authentic vision of Jose Miguel Romerosa Vico, a charismatic artist who has been able to conquer hearts since his humble beginnings in the charming neighborhood of Albayzín in 2015. Together with talented bassist Alberto Sapillo, El Jose began his musical adventure with a unique blend of diverse poetics and eclectic sounds. His first LP, “En casa que no hay gobierno, a pellizcos se va el pan tierno”, marked the beginning of his career and opened doors for him to leave an indelible mark on audiences throughout the Iberian Peninsula.

El Jose’s connection with his audience was further consolidated with his second album, “Yo sin tú”. Financed with the unconditional support of his followers through a crowdfunding campaign, it surpassed all expectations in less than a week. This album achieved millions of plays and sold out all copies of its first edition in record time. With this album he reaffirmed his place in the current music scene.

In 2021, they released “Seguro de na”, an album that the journalist Fernando Neira (El País, Ser) described as a work of “surprising and exciting stylistic self-confidence”. Neira highlighted El Jose as “the greatest thing that has happened to Spanish singer-songwriters since the debut albums of María Rozalén”.

Now, El Jose is enthusiastically working on his long-awaited third studio album, and promises new emotions and songs that will continue to leave their mark on the hearts of his ever-growing audience.

After the success of his last tour in Latin America, with multiple sold outs and a break in Spain, El Jose returns to the stage this coming June 6th and we will be able to enjoy his cathartic live performance in numerous venues such as: Alhautor Presentation (Alhaurín de la Torre, Málaga), Tali Fest (Murcia), Ciclo Bulanico (Maracena, Granada), EsBirra (Ibiza), Verano en el Lago (Getafe, Madrid), Ciclo 20 A La Isla (Plasencia, Cáceres), Mosquito Club (Punta Umbría, Huelva), Fiesta en el Aire (Arriate, Málaga) or Ciclo de Rock Teatro Jofre (Ferrol, Coruña), among others.

Jose is in his best moment. After a break from his successful tour in Spain and Latin America, in which he sold out prestigious venues, the artist continues to conquer hearts. Despite dodging the radio formulas and conventional paths of the music industry, his authenticity attracts crowds: more than 5000 people danced to his show at the Wizink in Madrid and he sold out two consecutive days at the Industrial Copera in Granada, his listens on Spotify exceed 10 million and on Youtube, 40 million.

From the first minute, El Jose takes the stage with an overwhelming energy that will make you dance non-stop. His songs, which cover diverse genres and styles, transport the listener to an inner journey, touching the heart with powerful and emotional lyrics.
