Afrosideral, is a Cuban artist based in Europe with a career of more than 20 years inside and outside the island. Deep lyricist, music producer, soundtrack composer and digital percussionist. This new proposal by Kumar is the result of what he has called Afrocuban Electronic Ensemble, where the rhythm of an experimental electronic music is mixed with the Afro-Cuban essence through its rhythms and melodies inspired by the legacy of the Yoruba people. With a dynamic, artistic, mystical, cosmic, futuristic and ancestral staging; where rhythm boxes, samplers, synthesizers and acoustic instruments coexist in an ecosystem full of soundscapes that immerse you in their Afrosideral jungle. His music has a marked Afro-Cuban character with hip hop, jazz, dub and electronic influences. Member of Havana Cultura, Afrikun, Re- Nacimiento, Experience, Electrorumbaiao… has performed in Japan, Kenya, Sweden, France, Canada, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, UK, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Ukraine, Azores Islands among others; performing in festivals such as Rototom Sunsplash (Spain), Sziget Festival (Budapest), Fusion Festival (Berlin), Montreaux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), just to mention a few…
