MR. ID

Profundamente conectado con las raíces musicales de Marruecos y la ciudad de Casablanca, Mr. ID has built a unique sound identity where contemporary electronic music and the Gnawa tradition of the Maghreb converge. His career is the result of a long musical and vital journey in which vinyls, club culture and cultural memory become creative tools to develop a sophisticated and deeply emotional language of his own.

After years of absorbing influences from hip hop, American house, jazz and funk, Mr. ID returns to Morocco to reconnect with the traditional sounds of his territory. From this process is born a singular proposal where native string melodies, ancestral voices, hypnotic percussions and an organic, elegant and enveloping electronic music coexist. Their music works as a natural bridge between past and present, tradition and modernity, connecting different generations and territories through rhythm and emotion.

A regular on international circuits such as Chinois Ibiza, MOGA Caparica, Pantheon Paris or Lost Nomads Marrakech, and also recognized for his work as a curator and artist at The Universe of Buddha-Bar, Mr. ID has established himself as one of the most authentic and respected figures of the international organic and afro-electronic scene.

Beyond the dance floor, his proposal stands out for a spiritual and cultural dimension that transforms each session into an immersive and atmospheric experience. Live, he displays elegant and organic sets where the energy evolves naturally, combining clubbing sophistication with a real connection to the sound roots of the African continent.

With his new project ASKI, Mr. ID further deepens the relationship between electronic music and the musical traditions of southern Morocco, reaffirming an artistic vision where identity, exploration and contemporaneity are in constant dialogue.
